The Editorial Fellows Team expresses our appreciation to thesponsors, supporters, and collaborators who helped make this project possible!
Proceedings sponsors:
New conference sponsor Stylus Publishing and continuing sponsor PHC Ventures generously directed their sponsorships to support the Editorial Fellows Team in producing the 2nd annual conference Proceedings. Their support helps enable the graduate student Fellows to participate in this year’s conference, for which we are very grateful!
Comments given by John von Knorring (Stylus) during luncheon on Monday September 24
Proceedings supporters:
The IARSLCE Board of Directors allocates resources to this project, covering the costs of producing and marketing the Proceedings and also helping enable the graduate student Editorial Fellows to participate in this year’s conference. We are grateful for their support of our efforts to design and experiment with an innovative IARSLCE publication.
Proceedings collaborators:
Several individuals contributed in key ways to the production of the Proceedings.
Tara Luparello, who provides administrative support and leadership to the Association, devoted considerable time at the beginning of this project to organizing the session proposals we worked with and continued her role as provider of information, fielder of all manner of questions, and liaison with the Board and the conference planning team.
Kelly Cowdery, graduate student and conference organizer, and KerryAnn O’Meara, Chair of the conference this year, both at the University of Maryland Baltimore, worked closely with us to share decisions and information and to consider our questions and suggestions, ensuring alignment between the Proceedings and the conference.
Jeff Howard, editor of the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning, enabled us to have professional development opportunities related to the roles of editor and reviewer, which helped inform our work on the Proceedings.
The Steering Committee of the Graduate Student Network (led by Lina Dostilio) and the Co-Chairs of the Publications Committee (Elaine Ward and Patti Clayton), who share responsibility for this IARSLCE publication, have been advocates of our work and have encouraged and contributed to our efforts to position the Proceedings at the leading edge of emerging scholarship.
Thank you, from all of us!
